THE PASSING OF FOOTBALL LEGEND KEVIN CAMPBELL
Arsenal and Everton icon Kevin Campbell, 54, has passed away, as confirmed by former teammate Mark Crossley:
Kevin Campbell was admitted to the hospital at the end of May, but the details of his illness were not made public. Both Arsenal and Everton had posted short statements when Campbell was hospitalized.

Shortly after, Arsenal also confirmed the news on social media, expressing their devastation and condolences to Kevin's friends and family.

Campbell's Football Career:
Kevin Campbell started his career with Arsenal, making 224 first-team appearances for the Gunners. He was part of Arsenal's league title-winning squad in 1991 and helped them win the FA Cup and League Cup double in 1993. He also lifted the European Cup Winners Cup a year later.
After a stint at Nottingham Forest, Campbell moved abroad to Turkish side Trabzonspor. He then had a successful loan spell at Everton, where he scored 50 goals in 160 games and became a fan favorite.
Retirement:
Campbell had short spells at West Brom and Cardiff before retiring in 2006. He left a lasting impact on the football world and will be remembered for his talent and sportsmanship.
