BARCELONA EYEING BAYERN MUNICH STAR JOSHUA KIMMICH
Barcelona is reportedly planning to make a new offer for Bayern Munich star Joshua Kimmich. This news comes after the appointment of their new head coach, Hansi Flick, who previously managed Kimmich
Successful Partnership:
Flick and Kimmich have a successful history together, having won a treble in the 2019/2020 season which later turned into a sextuple. Their strong partnership on the field has caught the attention of Barcelona.
Interest from Barca:
Barcelona's interest in Kimmich dates back to last summer when former coach Xavi Hernandez was in charge. With Sergio Busquets announcing his departure from the club after winning the La Liga title, Xavi looked to replace him with either Kimmich or Martin Zubimendi.
Financial Constraints:
Unfortunately, Barcelona's financial situation prevented them from securing either Kimmich or Zubimendi. Instead, they had to settle for Oriol Romeu at a discounted price. While Romeu started the season well, he struggled with injuries and a lack of confidence, leading to a decline in his performances.
