THE BALLON D'OR 2024: DATE AND VENUE REVEALED

Following the big announcement last year about UEFA teaming up with Groupe Amaury, the owners of France Football and L’Équipe, to organize the famous Ballon d'Or starting in 2024, we now have some more exciting news to share.

When and Where?
The 68th Ballon d'Or awards ceremony will be held on Monday, October 28th at the amazing Théâtre du Châtelet. This grand venue is located at the Place du Châtelet right by the beautiful Seine river.

What is the Ballon d'Or?
Since 1956, France Football has been presenting the Ballon d'Or award annually. It is the most prestigious award a football player can receive for their outstanding achievements and exceptional talent on the field.

What to Expect in 2024:
The 2024 awards will include some exciting categories such as the Men’s Ballon d’Or, Women’s Ballon d’Or, Kopa Trophy (best player under 21 years old), Yashin Trophy (best goalkeeper), Gerd Müller Trophy (top scorer of the previous season), Men’s Club of the Year Trophy, and Women’s Club of the Year Trophy.

A football manager passed away as a result of a heart attack he suffered while celebrating his side's last-minute winner. It is a dark day for football enthusiasts in Egypt following a tragedy that befell the country's football league.
