FRANCE'S DAYOT UPAMECANO INJURED AHEAD OF EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS

Les Bleus Face Injury Scare:
Les Bleus, the French national team, faced an injury scare before the European Championships in Germany. During a pre-tournament friendly against Luxembourg, Bayern Munich centre-back Dayot Upamecano had to be taken off due to an injury.

Match Details:
Upamecano started the match alongside Liverpool’s Ibrahima Konate, and France won the game comfortably with a 3-0 victory. However, Upamecano did not return to the pitch after half-time. Instead, Arsenal’s William Saliba came on to replace him, which seemed to be a precautionary measure.

Injury Update:
French broadcaster TF1 reported that Upamecano was substituted because he was feeling discomfort in his left thigh. The severity of his injury is still unknown, but further tests will be conducted in the coming hours and days to determine the extent of the injury.
