NOVAK DJOKOVIC WITHDRAWS FROM FRENCH OPEN DUE TO KNEE INJURY
During a match against Francisco Cerundolo, Novak Djokovic hurt his right knee. He had to play five sets to win the match, but the injury was too much for him to continue.
What Did Djokovic Say?
After the match, Djokovic said he would get a scan to see how bad the injury was. The scan showed that he tore a part of his knee called the medial meniscus. This meant he had to pull out of the French Open.

On Instagram, Djokovic shared his disappointment about having to leave the tournament. He said, "I am really sad to announce that I have to withdraw from Roland Garros."
