AS ROMA OWNER DAN FRIEDKIN GRANTED EXCLUSIVITY IN EVERTON FC SALE

Reports from major media outlets suggest that Dan Friedkin, the owner of AS Roma, has been given exclusive rights by Farhad Moshiri to negotiate the sale of his majority stake in Everton FC.

Deal in Principle:
BBC Sport has gone a step further than other news sources, stating that a deal has been agreed in principle for Friedkin to acquire Moshiri's 94.1% ownership of the club.

Friedkin's Background:
Dan Friedkin, who is worth an estimated $6 billion, became the owner and president of AS Roma in 2020 after purchasing the club for $700 million. This acquisition has paved the way for him to potentially finalize a deal for Everton FC.

Success with Roma:
During Friedkin's ownership of AS Roma, the club achieved success by winning the Europa Conference League in 2022 under the management of Jose Mourinho. They were also finalists in the Europa League the following year before Mourinho was replaced by Daniele De Rossi.
