The Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) has chosen to test Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen for drugs after his amazing performance in Nigeria's 2-0 victory over Cameroon in the Africa Cup of Nations round of 16.

Osimhen's Impact on the Game:
Osimhen played a crucial role in Nigeria's win, showing great determination to get the ball and even setting up a goal for Ademola Lookman. He constantly pressured Cameroon's defense and was only substituted in the final minutes of the game.

Random Drug Testing:
Normally, players are chosen for drug tests by drawing lots from the entire match day squad. However, if any unusual behavior is noticed during or after the game, players can also be selected randomly. In this case, Osimhen's energetic display caught the attention of CAF, leading to his selection for a drug test.

In addition to Osimhen, Kelechi Iheanacho was also chosen for a drug test, despite not even playing in the match.
