Tottenham took an early lead with Cristian Romero's header in the 11th minute, which was well-deserved. However, West Ham fought back in the second half. Jarrod Bowen capitalized on a loose ball in the penalty area and scored, equalizing the game. Then, after a mistake from Destiny Udogie, James Ward-Prowse hit the post but managed to score from the rebound, completing a remarkable turnaround for the Hammers.

While West Ham has been performing well, winning five out of their last six games in all competitions, Tottenham has struggled, suffering their fourth defeat in five matches. This loss also made Spurs the first team in Premier League history to lead 1-0 and fail to win in five consecutive games.
