Despite making 104 appearances since his debut, Curtis feels that he hasn't reached the level of success that was expected of him. He admits that he faced a significant challenge when he joined the Liverpool first team.

Curtis explains that he was considered a prodigy and quickly rose through the ranks in the academy. However, upon reaching the first team, he felt like he hit a wall and struggled to meet the high demands placed on him.
